Kumamoto Prefecture and the seven cities and towns of Aso District are working to have the magnificent and beautiful cultural landscape of Aso recognized as a World Cultural Heritage site and passed on to future generations.
To widely promote this initiative both within Japan and abroad, we have created a new English pamphlet to raise awareness of Aso’s World Cultural Heritage nomination efforts.
